A wreck in Canadian County sent two people from Weatherford to an Oklahoma City hospital joining two others from Yukon in the same hospital.
A female, 30-year-old Terri Lynn Turner and a male, 30-year-old Casey Eugene Turner have both been discharged from OU Medical Center following the wreck Tuesday night on the Kilpatrick Turnpike in Oklahoma City.
The driver of the vehicle in which they were ridding, 59-year-old Tamara Kay Turner of Yukon, remains in good condition after arriving at the hospital in critical condition last night.
According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, the Turners were traveling north bound in a 2008 Subaru when they were hit by 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 17-year-old juvenile from Yukon who’s name is being withheld. The male teenager was also sent to OU Medical Center arriving there in stable condition.
The juvenile had been traveling south and for some unknown reason, struck the rear of a pickup causing him to leave the roadway and crossed the center median and cable barrier, entering the north bound lanes striking the Subaru. The teenager, who was not wearing a seat-belt, was ejected approximately 15-feet from his Tahoe.
The driver in the pickup, wearing a seat-belt, was not injured. Terri Lynn Turner, in the Subaru, was not belted while the other two were.
The accident happened around 8:30 Tuesday night just north of State Highway 66 in OKC.
