One man is recuperating in an Oklahoma City hospital following a motorcycle/ SUV accident on the Interstate.
44-year-old John Wall of Mountainair, New Mexico was transported by air to OU Medical Center Tuesday morning arriving in stable condition with leg injuries.
Wall had been riding a black 2005 Suzuki eastbound on Interstate 40 about 4 am when it became disabled in the inside lane of the highway.
According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, Wall and his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 54-year-old John Stephons of Lone Wolf. Stephons and a passenger in his vehicle, 51-year-old Loretta Stephons, also of Lone Wolf, were both treated and released at Mercy Hospital in El Reno.
Another passenger, a juvenile male was uninjured.
The cause of the collision is unknown as is the condition of the driver and rider.
The accident happened near the Geary exit on the interstate.
Everyone in the Tahoe was wearing seatbelts.
