A SWOSU campus group wants to help keep Western Oklahoma residents warm again this winter.
The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Nurses Student Association (SOSUNSA) is asking western Oklahoma residents to help with their “Spread the Warmth Coat Drive” on the Weatherford campus.
The nursing group is asking for and collecting new or gently used coats that will be donated to the Et Cetera Shop in Weatherford.
The drive only lasts about three weeks, however. All of the coats that are collected by the group will be picked up on December 7 for delivery to the Et Cetera Shop, a thrift store for residents in western Oklahoma.
Donation boxes can be found in Stafford Center, Parker Hall, and the Al Harris Library.
