A Custer County man has been arrested on drug charges.
41 year old Travis Roy Lane of Thomas was taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant on Saturday.
The District II Drug Task Force had been asked to assist the Thomas Police Department in their investigation relating to illegal drug activity in the Thomas area.
During their investigation, law enforcement members from the Thomas Police Department, Custer County Sheriff’s Office, District II Drug Task Force and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics served a search warrant at 419 N. 13th Street, in Thomas.
According to a press release from the drug task force, officers allegedly found distributable amounts of Methamphetamine and Marijuana along with other items used in the distribution of illegal narcotics during the search. Also found and seized from the home were several firearms and a stolen motorcycle.
Lane was arrested and is currently in the Custer County jail awaiting arraignment.
He is expected to be charged with numerous charges relating to the drugs, firearms and stolen property.
Lane pleaded guilty in 2004 in Custer County District Court to drug possession charges and sentenced in two separate cases.
The press release adds that the investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected in the near future.
