The Clinton Public School system is holding their second annual community health fair for the public and for school age children.
Assistant School Superintendent Tyler Bridges says as many as 400 people are expected for the event that will be chock-full of both information and services.
The free health fair will be held this Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm at the Frisco Center and it’s designed to bring people, students and parents together with health service providers that can be found in the area.
Bridges says the Custer County Health Department will be present to check children for head lice and other service organizations will be available to disseminate useful information including the Clinton Fire and Police Departments, Air Evac, the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Representatives with Western Plains Library will be available to help students and parents with new library cards as they also demonstrate how to use the library’s smartphone app to access the library’s database.
