The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist the Clinton Police in the investigation of the deaths of two people in Clinton.
Dead are 24-year-old Gabrielle Hawthorn and 25-year-old Deshawn Wooden, both from Clinton and both dead from gunshot wounds, according to a Clinton Police press release.
Authorities say police responded to a reported shooting Sunday night about 7:30 in an apartment complex in the 300 block of South 6th Street in Clinton. Upon arrival, they found the two deceased victims. As police began their investigation, the OSBI was called in to assist in the crime scene and criminal investigation.
Police are offering no additional information at this time as it’s a developing story as the investigation continues.
The medical examiners office has been notified and are, reportedly, additionally on the scene.
