A Hobart man is reported to be in good condition in OU Medical Center following a Sunday night accident in Washita County.
35-year-old Joshua Rouse was air transported to OU Medical Center following the accident at the intersection of County Road 2050 and 1120.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Rouse’s vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck in the driver’s side door, pinning Rouse in the vehicle, a 2014 Kia Flex.
47-year-old Brenda Mason of Burns Flat, the driver of the other vehicle, a 2007 Lincoln MKX, refused treatment at the scene of the accident.
The report says Mason was traveling east on County Road 1120 while Rouse was northbound.
The condition of the driver of the Kia Flex is under investigation.
The accident happened about 5:40 Sunday night.
The two vehicles were equipped with seat belts and they were in use.
