A Lexington, Oklahoma man has been recuperating in OU Medical Center following a Monday morning accident in Blaine County.

47-year-old Michael Alan Minnick was last reported to be in stable condition with head, leg and internal injuries after the 2012 Peterbilt semi he was driving on State Highway 58 failed to negotiate a curve and struck a delineator and rolled over on its side.

The report says Minnick was partially ejected from his cab and partially pinned under the vehicle for about 30 minutes before being freed by the Hydro Fire Department.

The accident happened about 9:20 about 3-miles north and 2-miles west of Hydro.

The cause of the accident was unsafe speed for a curve.

He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
