A domestic dispute over sex turns physical and sends a Washita County woman to jail on a felony charge.

According to a probable cause affidavit, deputies with the Washita County Sheriff’s office were called to a domestic disturbance to a home in Dill City one recent Friday afternoon.

When they arrived, they found the alleged male victim in the driveway with several injuries to his face and head. The deputy wrote in the affidavit that the injuries appeared to have been caused by blunt force trauma.

The man said that he and his wife had gotten into an argument over sex and his wife, 36-year-old Jennifer Lee Luna allegedly started to physically assault him by throwing objects including a large kitchen knife.

The court document says some of those objects hit her husband in the head causing abrasion and swelling.

He told the under sheriff and deputy that she’d been drinking alcohol and gets hostile when she’s inebriated. About that time, two boys, a 7-year-old and a 5-year-old appeared, crying and one claiming that mommy was beating up daddy. They were comforted with stuffed animals provided by the officers.

Luna was placed under arrest and has been charged with domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a felony and obstructing an officer. She remains in jail today.

She appeared in Washita County District Court last week for her initial appearance where a cash bond was set at $20-thousand dollars and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. She’s due back in court for a preliminary hearing conference on December 19.
