The Pioneer Performing Arts Center is winding up its performance season with a Christian comedian from Atlanta Georgia, Anita Renfroe.
Coming off a successful and well attended event last month when the arts center had its first-ever performance by a magician, Mike Super, art center manager Justin Edigar says Renfroe may provide even a better evening of entertainment.
Renfroe is the wife of a Baptist minister and the mother of three children. She’s been a regular commentator on Good Morning America and is YouTube star.
Edigar says she became famous after her comic rendition of everything that a mother would typically say to her children in the course of one, long day. The soliloquy is set to the music of the William Tell Overture and is called, simply, “Momisms.”
Edigar says Renfroe should really pack out the Pioneer Performing Arts Center. She’s that good and he considers her to be the season’s main attraction.
He encourages interested fans to get their tickets early for her performance.
Tickets for the Saturday night, April 8 performance can be purchased through the Elk City Pioneer Center Facebook page or drop by the Elk City Board of Education office at 222 West Broadway during regular business hours.
Ediger says Renfroe has been traveling with the largest touring Christian women’s conference, “Women of Faith,” since 2006.
