The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was expected to pick up their investigation into an alleged incident involving an employee at Weatherford Public Schools by the end of this week.  The alleged complaint involved the inappropriate behavior by a school employee towards a student.

According to an OSBI spokeswoman, Jessica Brown, the bureau was notified late last week, but due to their backlog of other cases, weren’t able to immediately begin their investigation but that the complaint was misconduct by a teacher relating to a student.

According to the Weatherford Daily News, sources close to them confirmed that a teacher and coach, James Camden, is under investigation. Camden serves as a Weatherford High School history teacher and Weatherford Middle School softball coach. A school website lists him as Coach Camden involved with US History and AP, US History.

Other sources indicate the teacher alleged to have committed the act was placed on leave Monday by school officials and has not been teaching since.
