Investigators have arrested a second man in connection with the death of a 30-year-old woman in Blaine County.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has announced that 40-year-old Adam Duane Collier has additionally been arrested in Watonga for accessory to first-degree murder. During the investigation, agents learned Collier assisted in the cleanup of the crime scene, helped with the removal of Pierce’s body from the crime scene, as well as the disposal of her body and evidence of the crime.
Investigators previously arrested 35-year-old Alan Dale Brower at a relative’s home for first-degree murder for the January 2 death of Karlie Pierce. Pierce’s father found her burned body in his field near Greenfield January 4, 2017. She reportedly died from blunt force trauma and a broken neck.
The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI’s help in the investigation. OSBI special agents and Blaine County deputies arrested Brower for first degree murder in addition to second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled, dangerous substance.
Officials say Brower allegedly killed Pierce at the home they shared in Watonga with three children.
