Elk City Police are looking for two men for questioning in a recent shooting. Police consider them to be armed and dangerous.
According to police, the two men, 26-year-old Jesse Lee Pershall of Elk City and 20-year-old Cody Wayne Thomason are wanted for questioning regarding a shooting, probably the one Monday morning at the Queen City Mobile Home Park, though police aren’t saying at this time.
The two are considered by police to be armed and dangerous.
An Elk City Police Facebook page on the two suspects is asking viewers if they have seen the pair and, if so, to immediately contact Detective Chatham with the Elk City Police Department
Police on Monday executed a search warrant on a mobile home following a 7 am shooting that sent a woman to Great Plains Regional Medical center with what was initially thought to be non-life threatening injuries.
At that time, police were looking for a man who fled from the scene in what witnesses say may have been a vehicle heard speeding away in an unknown direction.
Chief Holland said Monday morning that the man, wearing a face mask, broke thru the front door and fired a shotgun blast inside the residence striking a woman possibly in the facial area. The woman’s name hasn’t been released nor do police know if she was a resident at the mobile home, but she’s estimated to be in her 40’s.
Today, police are warning viewers on their Facebook page that if they personally know either of the two subjects to make them aware it would be wise to speak directly to Detective Chatham rather than facing a confrontation on the streets with other law enforcement.
Pershall is wanted on a $50-thousand-dollar bond for failing to appear for a motion hearing in court in October of 2014 on a charge of false declaration of ownership, a felony.
Thomason is wanted on a $100-thousand dollar bond on a 2015 charge of obstruction of an officer and a 2014 charge of for shooting with intent to kill, use of a vehicle in discharge of a weapon, discharging a firearm in public and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The social media outlet says viewers should use extreme caution with the subjects because again they are considered armed & dangerous.
The post also reminds viewers that anyone assisting the two men could be prosecuted for harboring a fugitive.
Information about the two men should be forwarded to Detective Chatham at 580-225-1212.
