Elk City School District Could Hear About EV Buses Soon

The grant application for new electric route buses for the Elk City School District could be awarded any day now.

According to Superintendent Mike Sparks, the district applied for the buses this past summer and says if awarded, the funds could supply the district with up to 5 EV buses to be ran only as route buses in the district.

Sparks said if the district is awarded the grant, the new EV route buses could be on the streets by March.
