Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell was in Elk City Thursday as part of the 34th Annual Lt. Governor’s Turkey Hunt that tours Oklahoma towns and cities and showcases Oklahoma to prospective out-of-state companies and site selection representatives.

During a lunch event at the nearly complete Elk City Activity Center, Pinnell touted Elk City’s CAPPs initiative as a way to make the city attractive to potential businesses, but also noted that Elk City’s location on Route 66 is also beneficial.
