The Oklahoma National Guard’s ongoing mission of deep cleaning the state’s nursing homes has arrived to western Oklahoma.
According to Public Affairs Officer Colonel Tom Ivester, who’s been a part of Governor Kevin Stitt’s Solutions Task Force since late March, the team of soldiers have already cleaned a nursing home in Cordell and plan on being in Beckham County on Friday.
Ivester says the team has been to Mangum, and says he does believe that the deep cleaning and disinfecting process is effective.
Ivester says since starting in late April, the team’s mission is nearly half way complete.
