A Lookeba woman died Monday night after being involved in a one vehicle accident in Caddo County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Michaela Whiteshire was driving eastbound on a county road northwest of Lookeba at a high rate of speed when her 2007 Hyundai Varacruz went airborne after a hill crest, departed the roadway and ultimately impacting a ditch. The vehicle rolled an undetermined amount of times before coming to rest on the passenger side. OHP stated that Whiteshire was ejected and pinned under the vehicle for nearly 25 minutes before being freed by emergency personal. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two juveniles, a 17-year-old female and 2-year-old female were also in the vehicle. There were transported to an Oklahoma City hospital for evaluation.
