Jackson County has an additional 5 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, that brings Jackson County’s total to 13, with all cases allegedly in Altus.
Greer County saw 2 additional cases added to its total, bringing it to 63. Custer County remained unchanged with 10, Kiowa County is up 1 with 4, while Beckham County remains with 2.
Harmon, Washita and Roger Mills Counties are still without a case.
Statewide, Oklahoma has seen an increase of 123 confirmed cases, bringing the cumulative count to 3,017. There were 6 additional deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 179.
Currently there are 284 hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in the state. That number is down by 14 when compared to Wednesday.
In Texas, more information is being released about the lone confirmed case in Wheeler County. According to Wheeler County Emergency Management, the 1 confirmed case was tested at Shamrock General Hospital. The hospital is reporting that there have been 8 tests administered with 5 coming back negative and 2 still pending results.
In Wheeler, at Parkview Hospital, there have been 5 individuals tested with 3 negative results, and 2 pending.
