During the recent Sayre City Council meeting, the council received the 2018-2019 audit report.
City Manager Guy Hylton says this year’s report was given by R.S. Meacham, CPA’s out of Clinton, and that overall it was a clean audit.
Hylton also said that the parts of the city that were flooded during last spring’s damaging storms are nearly repaired.
Hylton said it is not known when the city will receive the funds from FEMA. He also says the council approved a close-out resolution approving and accepting a community development block grant that saw parts of 1st and 2nd street receive asphalt street paving. He says the city is obligated to pay 20% of that project.
