A third fire victim has been confirmed dead as all three, a woman, a man and a child, have been identified in last week’s fatal fire in Elk City.

Dead are 32-year-old Erin Lee, 32-year-old Jami Crawford and the couple’s 1-1/2 year old biological male child, Alexander. The three died as a result of a fire in their mobile home last Wednesday afternoon about 2:30 pm.

According to a press release from Elk City Police Chief Eddie Holland, emergency services responded to the 9-1-1 call that a mobile home was on fire with people trapped inside. After firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and entry was made possible, the three bodies were discovered.

The address of the home was lot number 89 at the Cedar Village Mobile Home Park, 1920 West 7th Street in Elk City.

The mobile home, believed to have had no working smoke detectors, was completely destroyed. Preliminary findings indicate possible electrical issues, but the exact determination of fire origin is continuing to be investigated.

Holland says that the bodies were taken to the state medical examiners office to determine the exact cause of death.
