A Ravia, Oklahoma woman is due in Beckham County District Court for trafficking methamphetamine.

Originally held on a half-a-million-dollars bail bond, the bond amount was reduced to $10-thousand dollars on January 31 and Jeanetta Ruth Lindsey was able to post that amount and left jail to await her next court date.

She was charged with trafficking and bringing contraband drugs into a penal institution and will appear in court next Monday for a preliminary hearing conference.

Sayre police were called to North Fork Correctional Center on January 8 in reference of a woman visitor allegedly bringing contraband into the facility.

Upon arrival, the investigator learned that Lindsey had been searched by the facility staff upon her arrival to the prison and allegedly found to be in possession of two bundles, wrapped in tape, covered in condoms.

One bundle weighed 56 grams and the other weighed 64 grams. The substances inside tested positive for amphetamine.
