By Paragon News Director Paul Joseph –

Voters in Western Oklahoma will go to the polls on Tuesday for the February 12 Election, according to Beckham County Election Board Secretary Alex Joseph.

Early voting will be available at the voter’s county election board office of the county in which they live on Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. Polls are open from 7 to 7 on Tuesday and Joseph says lines may be possible at peak voting times, but anyone in line to vote at 7 pm will be allowed to cast a ballot.

Roger Mills County Election Board Secretary Jana Maddux says Anyone who needs to look up their polling place, verify their registration information or view a sample ballot can do so online. The online voter tool can be accessed on the Oklahoma State Election Board’s website: www.ok.gov/elections. Sample ballots are also available at the voter’s county election board office.

She says that those who vote by mail can also check the status of their ballot using the online voter tool.

Maddux reminds Roger Mills County voters that Hammon has opted to close the polling places for Precincts 202, 203 and 302 in Roger Mills County for it’s Board of Education Primary Election on Tuesday. Voters who are registered in those precincts at addresses located in the Hammon area should have received an application for absentee ballots.

Absentee ballots must be in the hands of the county election board officials by 7 pm on Election Day.
