At least two Weatherford students have been involved in a threat involving a knife. No one was hurt in the incident that happened off school property.
According to a news release from the Weatherford Police Department, the incident has been determined to have been a mutual fight between two juveniles including threats made to each other. One, however, is thought to have made a threat with a knife.
Weatherford police say the reporting person has posted a video of the incident on social media to identify the juveniles and resolve the situation.
The threat came to light on Tuesday when the report was made to the police department, but it’s currently unknown when the actual threat was made or it’s location – other than off school property.
At the time the report was given to police, Weatherford School Administrators were already aware of the threat and were involved in determining what had happened.
Police are also investigating the incident and say there is not currently nor has there been a threat to the school or any other students.
Since the incident involves juveniles, no names will be released.
