A Clinton man has remained in jail in Arapaho while the woman with which he was arrested has bonded out and is reportedly in a treatment facility.

The two were recently arrested on multiple felony charges including drug possession.

28-year-old Dominic Anthonie Breaux has been in the Custer County Jail on bonds totaling over $151-thousand dollars while 25-year-old Kaylie Dawn Tucker’s bond was reduced to a $50-thousand dollar cash bond.

According to online court records, the two were charged with similar felonies, but a previous arrest for Breaux kept his bond higher. Tucker’s attorney’s requested a reduction so she could seek inpatient treatment. She was ordered to have no contact with Breaux and ordered to check in with the court within 48 hours of her release from treatment.

They were arrested by Clinton police in May and were allegedly found with a loaded pistol, an AR-style .22LR rifle, more than 24 grams of what police believed to be methamphetamine and over $56-hundred dollars in cash found inside their vehicle.

The pair are charged with two counts of trafficking in illegal drugs, unlawful possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute, conspiracy, acquire proceeds from drug activity, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, maintaining a place for keeping or selling drugs and possession of paraphernalia.

Police arrested the couple after serving a warrant on Breaux related to alleged offenses he’d committed in April.

When officers arrived to serve Breaux’s warrant at the motel where the two were thought to be staying, the couple was spotted getting into a vehicle.

According to the probable cause affidavit, during a later interview, Tucker alleged that she and Breaux hadn’t been employed for about three months and that Breaux sold drugs in order to pay their bills. She added that she used her vehicle on occasion to deliver methamphetamine and that all the money found in the vehicle was acquired from drug sales.

Online court records report the two are due in Custer County District Court on June 15 for preliminary hearing conferences.
