An Elk City man is in critical condition in an Oklahoma City hospital following a motorcycle wreck over the weekend.
64-year-old Odie Quigley is in OU Medical Center with head, internal and external injuries that he suffered in a wreck with a pickup just before 3 pm on Saturday in Woods County.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Quigley was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle on US 281 near the entrance to Little Sahara State Park, approximately two miles south of Waynoka in Woods County and was thrown about 10 feet from the motorcycle after impact.
The 2005 Ford, F-250 pickup involved in the accident was driven by 22-year-old Blake Wondra of Ensign, Kansas. Neither Wondra nor his passenger, 20-year-old Brittany Palmberg, also from Ensign, was injured and were wearing seatbelts.
The accident is under investigation.
