Due to a water main line relocation, customers on the east side of Elk City were without water today for a few hours.
According to Elk City city manager Lee Litterell, the service has been restored for today, however repairs still need to be made and will begin at midnight.
Litterell says the city is shutting off the water at midnight and crews will be working through the night tonight to make the necessary repairs.
They expect water to be restored around 3 am, Saturday morning.
Customers in the affected area will possibly experience low water pressure or no water at all.
Crews will work to restore the water, Litterell says, as soon as possible.
