An Elk City woman recently charged with felonies from a two-year old incident has pleaded guilty and is set for sentencing.
20-year-old Felicia Jean-Raevi Mangiantini pleaded guilty to burglary in the second degree and assault and battery, charges brought against her in late December, just a little over 60 days ago.
Mangiantini recently pled guilty to the two felonies committed in August of 2015 and, in December of 2017, she pled to a third felony, unauthorized use of a vehicle. She’s received deferred sentences on all of the charges.
Her latest charges she faced were leveled against her on December 28 stemming from crimes that occurred over two years ago.
According to a probable cause affidavit, DNA samples and fingerprints collected from a home invasion in the 400 block of South Walker returning to Mangiantini through the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
The court document says that two women, one pregnant, confronted a woman in a home they were remodeling. The woman, thought to be Mangiantini, apologized but said she had nowhere else to go. As the two women attempted to hold the woman until police arrived, a scuffle ensued and the woman ran off, but not before she dropped – what investigators call – a hand made purse.
Several items in the home were scanned for fingerprints that identified the intruder as Mangiantini.
During the investigation, police provided a photo lineup of female subjects and the victim selected Mangiantini, according to the probable cause affidavit.
She’s due back in court in February of 2019 for sentencing on the assault and battery charge, December of 2020 to be sentenced for unauthorized use of a vehicle and two months later for burglary in the second degree. Until then, she’s on supervised probation and instructed to pay restitution.
