A convicted felon finds herself back in jail. The woman is being held on charges including possession of Methamphetamine and child abuse.

Saying she’ll be an addict until the day she dies, 37-year-old Michelle Lynn Villa was recently arrested at an Elk City apartment complex by Elk City police after allegedly selling drugs though her bedroom window.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Villa had an active felony warrant through the Beckham County Court System for several previous cases including one in 2013 to which she pleaded guilty, distribution of a controlled, dangerous substance, CDS, in the presence of a minor. She was arrested on the warrant and additionally charged with possession of a CDS and child neglect.

Villa has two young children.

The court document says witnesses saw Villa receive money through her bedroom window and then hand an item to the person. The witness said Villa might do this 14 to 15 times a day.

It also says that a small child lived at the residence and at times the child would be outside by himself. Once he allegedly told a witness that his mom had locked him outside.

During an interview, Villa confirmed she is an addict, she smokes meth in the house with her children present and stores it on a shelf in her bedroom. Though she didn’t have any at the moment she was arrested, she allegedly told the investigator that she places a call and a person brings over the the drugs. She stated that the person is whoever has the meth at the time.

She’s in jail on a $300-thousand dollar bond and her next court date is August 29.
